About Meredith Schwarz
I am a previous small business owner. I founded an executive search firm in Newport Beach, CA in 1989, Barnes & Associates Executive Search, INC. We specialized in the high tech industry primarily placing sales and marketing executives. It was a fun and exciting time in my life. In 2003 my husband and I decided to purchase our home in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. Our only child had gone off to college and we were ready for new adventures! In November 2005 we sailed our Gulfstar 50 ketch from Long Beach, CA to St. Augustine, FL, It was the trip of a life time! Since then we have thoroughly enjoyed the sailing grounds that the east coast of the US has to offer. Many winters we have sailed to the Bahamas, enjoying both the Abacos and the Exumas. Summers have been spent sailing up the eastern seaboard to New England. We have found Maine to be a sailor's paradise in the summer time. For the last 5 years I have been heavily involved with the Guardian ad Litem program out of St. John's County. We are the voice of the child in the court room after they have been removed from their family due to neglect or abuse. It is an extremely rewarding experience and I look forward to continuing my work. So, I have had my sabbatical and I am biting at the bit to get back into the business world. I miss the excitement of "the deal" quite honestly! There is nothing more rewarding than assisting others in lifetime decisions and I feel more prepared today for this than ever before. I am excited to bring my experience of negotiating and counseling individuals in making lifetime decisions, to the real estate industry. My passion for assisting individuals to reach their goals will be readily transferable to purchasing new homes. I will work hard to make this an enjoyable experience, fun and stress free!
